Part of the United Anodisers Group since 1972, COIL is the leader in continuous anodising with the highest quality standards and largest range of treatments available in the world.

COIL has more than 35 years experience and know-how in anodising on aluminium coils.

COIL has 5 production lines : four in Belgium (Landen) and one in Germany (Bernburg).

Together, these lines offer the world largest dimensional capacity with the possibility to treat coils with metal widths up to 2000 mm and metal gauge up to 3.5 mm.

Further, COIL offers the widest range of treatments in continuous anodising with anodic film thickness from less than 1 µm up to 25 µm available in a wide range of colours with large flexibility in terms of pre-treatments.

COIL is also the reference in terms of quality :  the Company has been certified ISO 9000 since 1995 and is committed to a continuous improvement process.  Most of the treatments available at COIL are compatible with the QUALANOD quality standard. 

Each year COIL treats more than 15 million m² and the total capacity of its plants exceed 45 000 tonnes.

For many years, COIL has been the sole supplier in Europe for continuous anodising for the major producers of aluminium flat rolled products in Europe, including ALCAN, ALCOA, ALERIS, HYDRO ALUMINIUM and NOVELIS. The Company also works with major aluminium distributors in Europe and the USA as well as a diverse group of end-users of aluminium.
